I had the Turkey melt! Was great! I smoke a lot of food, so saying that means something. Fries was crispy and on point!

This BBQ restaurant was across the street from our stay in Manhattan, KS., so the aroma of delicious BBQ could be smelled in the hotel parking lot. We walked over, entered, and were immediately greeted by a friendly staff. They answered our menu questions and made personal suggestions about their favorite menu items. We found a table in this uniquely themed building that provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and waited for our meals. We didn’t have to wait long until or meals were served, and our short wait was rewarded with some of the best BBQ that I have eaten. We love Brisket, and Cox Bros BBQ has some of the best to sink your teeth into. Our meals were very delicious and well prepared all while providing a good value for the money spent. We enjoyed our meal so much that we ate here twice more before our week in this area ended. I must suggest the Jalapeno hush puppies as a side with any meal, but all of the side dishes were great additions to the main course. We'll definitely dine here again if we're ever back in the area!

Really enjoyable lunch. The ordering process was quick and the huge menu on the wall makes it easy. The place smells great when you walk in, always a good sign with BBQ! The food came out surprisingly quick but didn't look or taste "pre-made", it was hot but not dried out. Clean place, nice folks.

Amazing Kansas bbq!! drove through from colorado and tried it. best beans, n brisket ivr ever had. wow!! rest was tasteful too A recommend !!! if youre in area.

If you are looking for a no frills bbq joint that serves up amazing food and a smokey flavor you can enjoy that isn't overwhelming, this place is for you. All the food was served hot and the meats were juicy and filled with a wonderful smoky flavor and aroma. The restaurant offers multiple types of bbq sauces and daily specials! The restaurant overall was very clean as well as the bathrooms. We can't wait to return here in the near future!!! Definitely a must eat in Manhattan hands down.

Decided to get takeout from this place on a whim and it was some of the best BBQ I've had away from home. The meats were soft and delicious, the sides well seasoned and balanced perfectly with the meat, the cornbread was amazing and having it served with honey and butter was just the icing on the cake. It all probably would have been even better if eaten in the restaurant but having it as takeout and it still being great was a surprise. They had it ready when I arrived and everything was packaged so nicely. The only thing I wish they did was offer multiple sauce options for their family dinners so we could have tried more! If I'm ever in this part of Kansas again then I will definitely be back, I know my colleagues certainly will!

SHOULD BE 5 STAR, NOT 4.1...First time visit from KC. Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich recommended by amazing cashier. First bite: The smokey flavor straight slapped my taste buds! Number 2: the Carolina sauce was on point!! And lastly: That pineapple slaw on this sandwich completed this masterpiece!!! Added some fried okra to the mix and it took me back home. Fast and friendly service. Very good on pricing and portions. Will visit again!!!
